Funny Company

Today we have a Tell-a-Tales book published in 1965 and based on the educationally hilarious animated adventures of the Funny Company (find out more about this great syndicated 60's kid's show HERE.) Fantastically illustrated by James Fletcher, this is one of the better Whitman books recently added to my collection-- and speaking of, if anyone wants to see more stuff like this just drop me a line! After the story, check out some original Funny Company TV episodes HERE and HERE! (BEWARE! The infectious FC theme song will be stuck in your head all day!)

It's hard for me to pick out a favorite page or image: the cowboy movie poster, the marching band, the search inside the museum with the dino and mummy... <3

That's my fave, I think. The kid looking for Super Chief inside the dinosaur bones. I wish it was even bigger. And of course we want to see more of this kind of thing.
