Osborne Kemper Thomas, Inc., Cincinnati OH, produced this funny bowling themed calendar in 1961 to be released the following year with the intention of making every month of 1962 a hilarious one for the bowler in your life. Nicely packaged in a tie sized, bright red flat box with a repeated "Talk of the Town" patten on both sides, each illustrated calendar page inside came spiral bound and could eventually be torn away and mailed to someone as a postcard as well (see back side scan at the bottom of the post.) Anyone know who the artist is here?

that's pretty cool! i think i prob bowl like the guy in the April pic.
i really love the font on the months and numbers! and the woman trying to wrap the bowling ball!
I like Mr March trying to sneak in at 2am with a ripped ball sack
I like the nighttime illustration for September. And the simple one with the dude looking through the crosshairs on the ball. I also like that you said "spiral bind" since that's Kinko's lingo. Sounds to me like you've got a zine or two--and lots of band flyers of course--in your past.
I do... too many to count, in fact
Love the manic look in these drawings!
No kiddin', Chris! If anyone knows anything about the artist, please drop us a line here-- thanks!
