Another cool 70's album insert order form, this time from the hottest band in the land-- KISS! Lots of Love Gun related greatness, (I still have the logo belt buckle G, as well as the logo necklace I), plus another reminder to join the KISS Army if for some reason you still hadn't by 1977. The backside of the form also reveals an ad for the amazing, 40-page, Marvel Comics Super KISS Special that actually had blood from all 4 members of the band mixed into the printing ink! All of this stuff totally rocked my 9 year old world back in the day, --it was such a great time era to be a KISS fan-- and I finally got to see them live a few years later in '79! My very first rock concert!

If it had Peter or Ace's blood in it, I wouldn't get it anywhere near an open flame!
I should see if that comic is up somewhere and take a read, I haven't read it in years. Steve Gerber wrote it! Has to be entertaining, but I honestly don't remember a thing about it.
Sadly, this post actually comes at a sad time -- the guy who drew the Love Gun cover, Ken Kelly, has just passed away. :(
I also remember the paper "love gun" you got as an insert.
That belt buckle is the best. I mean, all Kiss stuff is pretty cool, but the buckle is what I would have wanted as a kid, and what I want today, too. Must look just like unicorn magic when the disco lights hit it!

I actually still have a couple of the paper pop love guns, only one of them still works though, these things tore within the first few uses.

Or when Gene's blast of ball o'fire breathing reflects off it!
And yes, this post is dedicated to Ken Kelly , RIP
