Return to Satan's Flaming Inferno!

It's been a summer inferno here in the midwest for a few weeks now, and if you remember our last visit to Satan's Flaming Inferno (aka Kansas City) back in 2011 HERE, well, here we go again, as I recently found yet another amazing matchbook from this hotter than Hell show lounge of yesteryear, --and this time it's HUGE too, 12 inches long to be exact! Entertainment and dancing, bands, combos, shows, and all of your drinks served by some gorgeous Devil's helpers in the Salvador Dali Room! Sounds like heaven TBH. And if the size of this matchbook isn't impressive enough, check out all of the sexy illustrations featured on both sides! They're so well done, in fact, I think we should take a close-up look at each one!

Well here is something I've never seen before. It's a matchbook that seems to fly in the face of the entire reason for matchbooks -- to be small and portable!

And, again, kudos to the designer for a really great use of limited colors, all the little stars and bubbles, and the flaming letters, and the simple lined (so it reads easily at that size) good girl art. This thing is a really neat piece of paper.

Think photo 9 is probably my favorite good girl in the bunch.

That’s so freaking awesome! I would have liked a cartoon steak or hotdog or something somewhere on the cover tho

I am very into the burning "inferno" lettering for sure. And I'm digging that first lass with the pitchfork, too.

Look how many matches still survive! How did all of history conspire to keep this out of the hands of those who would strike the whole book at once? Because... ah... that's what I'd want to do.
