Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

You didn't really think I'd leave you without an Easter treat this year, did you? Well, sink your teeth into this tale of holiday fun and fear and long ears and BIG appetites! Hope everyone had a hoppin' great April Fools day too! From the September 1980 issue of The Unexpected #202.

The super technical pen art here is so much more like book illustrations than comic book pages. And while it isn't my favorite look for comics art, I have to admit I think the sequential paneling and story pacing here is dynamite.

Happy Easter!

I'm just glad they explained that was a headless chocolate easter bunny falling out of his back pocket on the last page, because if that had been me in that situation, it would've definitely been something else brown coming out the backside, if you know what I mean! ;)

So that's why Sean Spicer used to be the Easter Bunny!

Now why couldn't they make a horror movie out of this tale instead of Night of the Lepus?
