I showed you a handful of fun Famous Barr xmas images from the December 1967 issue of PROM Magazine in our previous STL post (click HERE for it), and today we have a few more from their local rival department store, Stix, Baer, & Fuller-- plus!! a sampling of neato advertisments also from the many fabulous retailers from around the greater 60's St. Louis area. Anyone get their picture taken at a Vincent Price Portrait Studio?

Motorola transistor radios, the walkman/ipod of their day.
Drums with the satin flame finish, maybe they meant Satan flame?
Who wouldn't want their portrait done by Vincent Price, especially of they offered Dorian Grey style portraits.
Thanks for this neat find of days gone by.
It's all about the houndstooth pants. Everybody looks like a chef!
Heh, Apollos were pretty crappy.
I had no idea there was a Vincent Price portrait studio franchise! That's hilarious!
Awesome ads! I love the Swingin' Values! And the Yardley! The cheesy Satin Flame ad is awesome too :)
Ha! I actually read that as "Satan Flame" and thought, "What the...?"
