Sinning in Hollywood '43 (Part 1)

Gambling in "Sin City" Vegas in our last post was fun, but now it's time to head to the westcoast and partake in some serious sin. It's the 1940's, and what's a military boy to do in a city as big and diverse as Los Angeles? Well, look no further, this handy, pocket-size booklet has the sinside dope on what to do, where to do it, and most importantly-- where the girls are! Loaded with spicy enticing illustrations and info, more than anything, this is actually a wonderful snapshot of men's entertainment in 1940's wartime era LA.

You and all are invited to join the hunt.

Wow, those illustrations are phenomenal! The use of negative space to enhance all those curvaceous ladies is very elegant. This must be where Jessica Rabbit got her start. Thanks for sharing this gem!

I'm game, and will always help out in the search for vintage sleaze!

Haha, yes... unfortunately these are the only mini-pin-ups in this guide. Who's the artist?

I like that stylistic aproach very much too. Thanks for stopping by ya'lls, and keep the homefires burnin' (if you know what I mean!) --just don't burn the home fries!
