Dancing Skeletons and Creepy-Crawly Hands!

Here are a couple of fun projects you can make this Halloween! I mean, seriously-- what party is complete without dancing skeletons and hands creeping and crawling all over you? TERROR BLU: Il Figlio Delle Stelle

***ADULTS ONLY!!!*** Why are women found everywhere spread eagle, and gazing trance-like towards the sky? ANSWER: An alien race has begun impregnating them from above via space beam, --and good lord *choke!* the results are much more horrific than the white haired, glowing eyed children from Village of the Damned! Il Figlio Delle Stelle (Children of the Stars?) comes from the pages of the infamous Terror Blu fumetti series published in Italy in the 70's. I'm not learned enough with the language to figure out who the artist is here, but I've narrowed down the 100+ page story to just 20 scans of coherent "highlights", --which, combined with my own guesswork synopsis should make it fairly easy for you to look at the pictures and follow along with just the nauseating action alone, (if you can't read it either.) In between these pages is a bit more murder, masked rape, and other assorted repulsive shenanigans, but you're not really missing much... if anyone has additional info or insight on this story, please comment-- thanks!

Witch & Ghost Stories + Poem!

What's a Halloween party without some spooky stories, and maybe even a poem? Cute, harmless stuff, but no doubt these would tickle your scaredy bones if you were just a wee tot. And how about those illustrations? :) This is the last of the light hearted, kid friendly posts from the Oct. '64 Jack and Jill issue (see our last few posts too), as from here on in at AEET things might be taking a terrifying turn for the dark / unfriendly posts... for a little while anyway...

A Merry Magic Mix-Up

More Halloween party fun from the Oct. '64 issue of Jack and Jill, this one a sort of Mad Libs styled story / card game that already gives you the jumble words to fill in the blanks (though I suppose you could also make your own card responses as well, or just make stuff up off the top of your pointy little heads.) Super illustrations by Audrey Walters, --who hands down wins the best use of buckles ever conceived on a witch, highlight the silly story.
