Dura-Gloss Counter Display

From a risque Duro Decals post HERE , and now on to a lovely 1940's Dura-Gloss counter display --made entirely of wood, no less! That's right, "the better nail polish" deserves an even better counter display and this one comes practically unmatched by most I've seen over the years (and mostly I just love that gorgeous hand illustration in the header!) You'll have to use your imagination to see this beauty covered in the various choice color bottles of polish, but I'm sure it was equally magnificent. And be sure to Google Dura-Gloss to see an amazing array of their legendary print ads created by master graphic designers of the era.

I also like that hand illustration but to me it's a bit on-the-nose for your sister blog because it reminds me of how Bela used to do the Dracula hand-hypno thing (the start of it!)

The thing is dove-tailed! That's cool.

Its a well built display, built to last. I suspect it was used several years if not a decade unlike disposable displays of today.

I wonder if this was repurposed over the years, displaying items other than nail polish or if it was placed in the backroom and forgotten.

This is one more common day item that is given a moment to shine thanks to you, Karsewll.
