Donny & Marie Radio

There is no bigger fan of Donny & Marie on this planet than me. Nobody. And don't believe what you might read here in the comments later on, as some people will definitely try to convince you otherwise. Me. It's all me and Donny & Marie. Yes sir, I can't even think of anyone silly enough to even try to challenge me on this. Not a single person. No one. And as proof, here's a portable Donny & Marie solid state AM radio from 1977 in my hand to deliver FACTS! Can anyone else show me their Osmond dedication with a similar photo? Unlikely! So good luck Brian... errrr, I mean, anyone out there viewing this post, --in yo' face!!

Damn, I've been served!

You can have this one, because it has yucky, stinky Donny on it, too, not just beautiful angelic Marie only!

You know, outside of Marie being an endless beauty that I was definitely not in giant puppy dog love with as a 10 year old kid, I love the color of that radio. I really love those 70s toy plastic colors. I know they aren't that different now-a-days (maybe they are more shiny?) Maybe it's nostalgia, but they are just ... cooler.

Oh and Donny can eat a purple sock. GET AWAY FROM MARIE!

Karswell-
The world's biggest Donny and Marie fan
The world's biggest Kiss fan
The world's biggest Vampira fan
The world's greatest comic horror host
and
The Joust Champion of the world!

You are indeed a man of many talents, Karswell, talented and modest. We salute you!

By the way, does the radio still work?
I get lousy AM reception in Pennsylvania so I don't bother with AM much, I just wonder if it is clearer in Missouri.

Haha, well truth be told, I am actually not the biggest D&M fan, they was me just poking fun at Brian. I am actually a huge Osmond Brothers fan though!

You can have her, Barnes!!

I'm more of a Shields and Yarnell guy, I guess. Their radio can't break! Get it? Because they're mimes is why!

I love that thing, though. The blue and silver borders are so classy. And what a great shot of Donny. I can't decide who I think he looks like, Davey Jones? Young Desi Arnaz? Whoever it is, he's snapping like a lap dog.

Step aside, small fry! Did you even have one of the dolls? That's what I thought.

Man that thing is awesome. I honestly can't believe I didn't have it when I was a kid. I guess I was too busy listening to my six million dollar man backpack radio that you had to clip on something metal to get a weak signal

Does it work? Have you been jamming out to any AM radio stations?

@ CPC No, I didn’t have one of the dolls— I had BOTH of them, foo! Did yee forget they even modeled some Alice wigs here at AEET a few years back? Check it:

Don't make me call your answering machine and leave my masterful rendition recording of Muskrat Love for you to never delete!

"I'll never wash this answering machine again!"

The muskratty melody is coming from inside the house!
