Skeleton Stuff

Like the evil, shambling dead, Halloween is slowly approaching. And nothing says "chilled to the bone" quite like an animated pile of bared bleached bones, taking frightful living form, (as well as taking over a blog post), and then heading in your shivering, screaming direction! Annnnd here they come, from cute, vintage Halloween decor and candle, to monstrous mask and peeping cheapo, dime store goodness, --all terrific things I've found over the last few weeks. And special props to my son for his perfectly petrifyin' poses in the mask!

That little Stayin' Alive (tee hee, how ironic) table-top Grim Reaper skeleton decoration is adorable!

Ah, the old peeping skeleton, a comic book of my youth didn't go by without an ad for one of those!

Love the skeleton/pumpkin decoration, I see it's got the ol' paperclip fix because the glue probably failed, but it's in really great condition for a decoration which is really fragile.

Is the black pupils in that mask a mesh? I can't see his eyes at all! That's a good design. Unless you photo edited, still cool, though!

The skeleton candle is so happy, it makes me happy!

If I'd known the four-color tag art for the Peeping Skeleton was so DIY punk flyer looking I think I'd have ordered one a long time ago.

That mask rocks, but I think the shirt is perfect for the costume, too.

I have a matching witch as well! I'll post a pic sometime a little closer to halloween

No glue, these come collapsed for easier storing

It really is a great mask, from those big red crazy eyeballs to the weird veins in the gaping mouth, it's certainly the best $3 I've ever spent digging through a Goodwill bin.

Thanks for the comments-- FRIDAY FRIGHTS is up next!

Love me some skeletons.
Yes, we're almost there. Cheetos 'Bag Of Bones' are already on shelves, so I say huzzah! :)
