Tetsuwan Atom Miso Bowl
I bought this cute Tetsuwan Atom, (aka Astroboy), miso bowl in Osaka last year, and boy do I love it. Highlighted by artwork on all four sides of the bowl, including Astro's sister, Uran (and pet), the only thing I need to do now is find some worthy miso here in America to eat from out of it!

I recall watching Astro Boy as a youngster, and Kimba the White Lion, the original lion king before Disney plagiarized the Japanese cartoon.
I love bowls in general. I have a couple of cute Japanese Moomin-themed soup bowls and thermoses. This one looks like it should be part of a lunch set, with a matching lid and an Astro Boy bento box that it fits snugly into.
I always dig Astro Boy art, but I can't let it go without saying. The iffy registration makes it all the more beautiful to me.

Astro was also my intro to Japanese anime as a child in the very early 70's. Gigantor, and of course Speed Racer, was also syndicated in my area.

Haha, I knew you were gonna say that Mr. C! Not sure if this came with a set, now you have me curious and looking around online.
