Snow White Scrapbook

Flipping through a stack of old odds ‘n ends ephemera at an antique mall the other day and found this tattered (cover only) page from a 1930’s Snow White Scrapbook. It features the incredible art of Gustaf Tenggren and is identical to the original one-sheet poster from the film's initial 1937 theatrical release. I trimmed it up and pieced it all back together the best that I could with glue and tape, (it’s still in bad shape clearly), but I think it still turned out pretty nice looking. I absolutely love the muted colors and design / composition —plus the fact that Gustaf added both versions of the evil queen / witch, --which some of you already know I'm a mad collector of! Finally, I put it in this very old, chunky golden antique frame that I’ve had for years, and please note how the minimal blue and red colors in the frame perfectly match the colors in the artwork. Seriously now, doesn't it feel like something that should be hanging at a Disney theme park?
