Just a small sampling for you all today of creepy cool things I spotted throughout the month of October 2025, starting with another great vintage Halco costume in the original box, this time it's good 'ol Felix the Cat highlighted by an interesting "riding a shark while dressed as a cowboy" frock smock design. Plus, a fun Frankenstein rubber jiggler (looks like he reeeeally needs to stop biting his fingernails!) But the most odd and perplexing thing I saw was a grave bustin' zombie model kit scene. Does anyone know anything about this? I love that there's a vulture already waitin' to take a bite out of grime! I imagine that this was actually someone's very own, homemade from scratch creation, as I'm not finding anything online anywhere about it. So yeah, a true one-of-a-kind horror find, I'd say! Despite all of this neato stuff, the only thing here that I actually bought was a Kooky Spooky's glow-in-the-dark Daddy Booregard from 1968 Hasbro. These are getting exceedingly hard to find anymore, and with him missing his clock necklace accessories, the price was actually in my affordable range for a change! What about you now? What've you found lately?

The Felix the Cat costume looks to be in fairly good shape. It looks to have been worn on a few Halloweens so it was someone's favorite costume growing up.
Frankenstein looks a bit rough, maybe he got too close to the fireplace and ended up getting his fingers burned and forehead singed.
To tell you the truth, I never knew about the Kooky Spookys, I'm glad you managed to get one without breaking the bank.
Lastly, the zombie rising from the tomb is both impressive and new to me, I have never seen it before either. I wonder if it was created as a display model for a model shop, Halloween costume shop, magic shop or a real one-of-a-kind Halloween decoration.
amazing i just saw a youtube vid about the battlestar galactica costumes so weird just a mask and a wearable poster for the character not exactly what we would consider a costume these days
As to the question "What have you found lately?" I don't have much luck concerning all things scary and Halloween oriented, but I did find a lobster clasp attached to a small part of a bracelet mixed in with some jewelry/crafting stuff. It is marked 750 (the European marking for 18K) current melt value is around $170, I think I did OK for a $2.50 purchase.
"John Doe", if an amateur sculpt, is pretty amazing. I love all the well painted little worms, the fake (I hope!) hair, the gold teeth, the mummified flesh, the wild eyes, it's incredible.
And the vulture, the dirt, the tombstone. That's professional level work, at least IMHO.
Had a skeleton jiggler hanging on my various cars for decades now, still going strong. I'm surprised he has lasted this long!
Love the look on the ghost, kind of angry and embarrassed at the same time. And still glows bright!
