I posted a set of early 50's Crazy Eights cards by Whitman way back in 2011 HERE, and today I have another vintage set with artwork that is just as cute-- only this time it stuck with an all circus theme instead of an across the board variety. The rules are the same too, so if you need 'em, please refer to the card in the other post.

My favorite is the horse riding monkey. Please give me a hug, you cute little muffin!
While my sideburns and I probably most identify with the #6 card, I'd say my favorite is #11, not only because it has a cute redhead, but also because I love those tiny details below her with the girl balancing on the elephant while a clown runs around. That's entertainment, folks!
My eye was also drawn to the distant details on that eleven card. It's the only illustration that includes any kind of environmental information, and it kinda serves to make me wish they all did. Despite that, I think my favorite central image is the bear on the five card. He's just so merrily Balkan! Though I really wish his image was switched with the Scales Lady, so her weight would better match her face value.
I can't decide which deck I like better.
Omg I love 11 too! the teeny elephant and people in the background are soooo awesome!
I hope you're playing the hell out of this game!
These are the Crazy Eights cards I had growing up in the eighties. They must have remained in print awhile!
