Fun overview illustration accompanying a DON'T DO article featured in a 1950's Family Circle magazine. Are you guilty of these hospital visitation no-nos? I particularly love the kid playing cowboy with his sister in room #2, and Jayne Mansfield visiting her poor friend who has yet to acquire a room and is currently stuck out in the not so private hallway. The artist name is in the art but it's hard to read. Got a bunch of great ads from this mag coming up next!

Well I'm sure I don't know what's so "inappropriate" about a hospital room full of books--perhaps the gent has been blinded in an industrial chemical accident?--but I do think this comic has it dead-to-rights about the kids. Also, I like any hospital with a lot of saloon doors.
What a crafty use of spot color. Maybe his name is Danska? Means "Denmark" in southern Slavic (like, Croatian).
Maybe it's a bunch of porn? Still...
Is it wrong to feel fond for a font?
I fall in love with fonts all the time-- so I'm saying no ;)
Wow this is amazing. I love all the little details like the radio waves and the different flower shapes. But jesus christ what CAN you do in a hospital? I guess sneak in one at a time and don't bring anything with you? And no crying in the hall!
First rule of hospital etiquette --don't talk about hospital etiquette!
Uh oh. I already broke the first rule. I'm gonna get in trouble with the corridor monitor.
