Friday the 13th 3D Glasses (1982)

Some of you social media friends are already aware from recent posts about my son who is finally getting to watch the Friday the 13th films. Yes, a big rite of passage birthday is approaching, and as I promised years ago, MOST horror films would become available to him once he turned the ripe 'ol age of 12. Now he's finally nearing said age, and I suppose it's ok or somehow appropriate to watch bouncing boobs and buckets of bloodshed and brutality in a repeated manner over a series of I don't really even know how many films (I think we're on Friday the 13th #5 or 6 now-- as if it matters, they're all pretty much the same movie over and over, some being more entertaining than others.) And I must say it's only been moderately tedious for me to revisit this fun franchise, as I remember seeing at least the first 4 in the theatre when they were originally first released. And while watching part three the other night (which was filmed in 3D) I was reminded that I actually still had my pair of theatrical 3D glasses from 1982 too! Here it is scanned from all sides, and features neat Jason Voorhees artwork and lots of blood drippin' everywhere-- no bare boobs though!

Ch-ch-ch-ch... ha-ha-ha-ha...

All ya gotta do is wear 'em backwards and then Jason's safely stabbin' away from ya!

Har! I tried that with The Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3D and wound up getting lagoon water up my nose

You have to see #4 cuz it's got Crispin Glover doing some awesome dance moves... plus cute lil Cory Feldman is in it!
