Eaton's Hostess Shop

An old Eaton's Hostess Shop ad contains some super cool, and highly detailed tiny illustrations --maybe an inch big and screaming at me to blow 'em up-- so I did it at 600%, and just in time for Teeny Thursdays, which unfortunately, doesn't quite have the same ring as Mini Mondays, but hey we're just getting started here in 2015 and there's still plenty of time to get that ring to shine.

I think the first I ever heard of Eaton's in my life was because of this famous NFB short!

Sad Eaton's is no more.

The guy who told this story later adapted it into a book that turned 30 years old last month. The CBC did an interview with him you can check out here!

I think "Thimble Thursdays" has a certain comic something-something about it. I love the 600% days!
