Vintage Halloween Cards

First post of October 2011, and by now you should all know where this is headed. And I'll admit up front, some of these scans here from my vintage greeting card collection are not actually Halloween cards, but they certainly all contain some type of spooky (or spooked) element that justifies inclusion. If I have time I hope to give you a few more... we have alot of ground to cover over the next 4 weeks: comics, costumes, art, and more!

Happy October, Karswell! Seems like we've just skipped right over September, somehow.

I love all of these, though I'm not sure I think that cutout works very well on the cute witch card. Not only does it make that weird shape when it's opened, but it kind of takes up all the room you'd have to write in the card, too.

Anyway, I love this. I hope we get to see more cards before November.
