Vintage Valentines (Part One)

Today we have "Part One" in a multi-part posting of vintage Valentine greeting cards from my personal holiday card collection. Today's samples are cute animals of the 50's and 60's, and all of these open up like traditional greeting cards, (a few worthy examples with interior art scanned), but closer to actual Valentine's Day we'll get to the simple, two-sided variation that we all remember giving to our sweethearts in school.

Love the skunk the best. Sometimes the good ol' direct approach of pure begging does the trick.

I liked that too, Mykal. I think my favorite is probably tied between the little white bunny on the black HI card right beside that skunk and the timber wolf in the woods. These are all awesome Karswell! I'm looking forward to part two.

As much as I love the horror angle of the first example, my fave is also the wolf yelling "TIMBER!"

Part Two coming up shortly!
