*excerpts from a 70's Christmas Want List

More memories scanned from three different Lakeside sales rep toy guides dated from the mid to late 70's (same brochure mags as last week's Haunted Mansion scans.) A few of these posted here today are not at all familiar to me, like the Lunch Bunch games I'm not sure I've ever seen before, but Barrel of Monkeys is of course a timeless classic, and my first watch was in fact a Teeter Totter Watch. Lakeside also produced fun stuff like Perfection, Aggravation, Galloping Ghost, One-On-One Basketball, and those great Light Up Drawing Desks that featured a variety of cool styles with popular characters from Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Marvel, etc.

Except for Barrel of Monkeys I don't think I've ever seen any of this stuff before, and I grew up in the 70s! I definitely would have been all over the Evel Knievel straw.

This is one Evel collectable that I don't really remember too, but I did have the Evel doll and the Rocket Car (until in a wild bit of play-time-imitates-reality I wrecked them both beyond repair.)

I had the Barrel of Monkeys... and a friend had the Evel Knievel.
Back then there were still American made toys!

The only one I had was barrel of monkeys too - but holy freaking shit - Hold the Pickle? Pass the Mustard? Easy on the Ketchup? Are you kidding me? Those look so freaking cool! I want some of those teeny pickles! And the little hot dogs!

I totally dig the Scooby Doo and Flintstone watches too!

I currently have a functional Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo version. I'm amazed that, after 40 years, it's still functional!
