"It's Murder"

Before we get into one of AEET's lengthier holiday posts, let's quickly check in with Super Duck, Uwanna, and Faunteroy and see what their plans are for Halloween this year-- even when *EEEK!* there's a vicious murderer on the loose!

From the April 1953 issue of Super Duck #49

Holy crap that's really harsh. I've never even heard of Super Duck before. It pulls out all the stops I see. Thanks Karswell!

I've never heard of Super Duck either but this was hilarious! And published by Archie Comics???

Yeah, Super Duck is one of those weird series that sort of fell through the cracks for most comic collectors, but it's totally awesome bonkers and Fagaly's art is really neato... his art actually gets even more surreal and stylized in later issues.

Back in 2008 I lent Chuck over at The Comic Book Catacombs some Super Duck scans, if you're interested in seeing more just check his archives by clicking the link below (and ps: Chuck's got some cool pre-code horror planned and featured there all this month too!)

Uwanna was the sexiest duck ever seen in a comic! For a little more insight into 'Supes' and his adventures, check out this great site I found http://www.misterkitty.org/extras/stupidcovers/stupidcomics136.html
I can't stop laughing at some of the stuff on there!
