From the same great October 1964 Jack and Jill issue as the images in our last post (HERE) is a cute two page photo album themed ad for Barbie toys and The World of Barbie Annual Magazine. Instead of just scanning both pages in as usual I edited each picture separately and blew them up larger... because just like Barbie's 60's styled hair-- LARGER is always better!

cool! thanks for blowing everything up!!!
"Keep blowin!" is my motto
i like the way you think!
I'm into the pink twin set and helmet bob. Makes Barbie look like Ed Wood.
Remember the saying from Barbie fans everywhere-
"When I grow up I want to be just like Barbie.
That b*#ch has everything."
Dream house, car, near unlimited outfits, she's like a supermodel/singing superstar without the paparazzi chasing her all over town, and no scandals in the tabloids.
I guess she stays good looking thanks to plastic surgery...
Ken seems to be taking pictures of Barbie in her tennis outfit at night in a creepy old wood...
Barbie and Ken like to keep things interesting and spice it up occasionally with the costumes and role play :)
Her looks certainly have changed over the years!
What I remember about the round ball of hair, usually sprayed with about a gallon of Aqua Net, was when I'd get into a clinch with my girl she'd say, "Now don't mess my hair." I liked the hair during the hippie era better.
During the hippy era you heard more of "don't step on my bare feet!" eh Pap?
Well there was a lot more hair to like in the hippie era. A body could find that stuff sprouting from nearly anywhere.
That same hair still sprouts from the same places today as back then. It's just in this day and age we've come to think / believe that hair is nasty or ugly and needs to be removed, um, from said places-- this is a practice that I've never really ever thought necessary to begin with.
