If you just hopped over (on your broomstick, of course!) from The Horrors of it All, then you see we are indeed already celebrating Mr. Karswell's blasphemous birthday tomorrow, as well as Walpurgisnacht, with an appropriately weird, witchy tale from the August 1952 issue of House of Mystery #5. So come own down, burn the midnight fires this evening, --and we will see you for much more in May!

I Like Black Boots
Sometimes boots aren't necessarily made for walkin', as evidenced with another vintage keychain peepshow viewer I found recently. And like our leggy previous post about nylons, todays sizzlin' hot scene also highlights a gorgeous set of uplifting gams, this time wrapped in black stockings as well as a terrific pair of beautiful black vinyl boots! And nobody sang about the bounty of other boot related benefits better than dynamite daddio, Dean Carter-- CLICK HERE!

Supp-Hose Phoenix
I love great packaging and logo design, and one fine example I recently found is this unused, vintage box of Supp-Hose Phoenix nylon stockings, circa 50's. From the gold-trimmed, colorful box lid and lovely leggy photography, to the superbly streamlined tissue wrap and booklet inside, (complete with fun mid century illustrations to boot!) --it certainly doesn't get much more classy than this! What'supp, hose?

Teen Time '63
Time now to travel back and marvel at what the young moderns were wearing in 1963, thanks to this beautifully painted set of cut-out paper doll fashion from the Watkins - Strathmore Co. We have a far-out assortment of casual and sports, and seasonally themed threads to make the cool daddies cooler, and the hot mamas even hotter! You probably wouldn't catch me dead at the "Big Game", --or wearing anything from the Frontier Fun page, --but I'd definitely dig me some clams at the wienie roast, and even 23 some skidoodles at the Roarin' 20's party!

The Junior Set
Found a fun little milk glass mug the other day, dated 1972 and made by the Jeanette Corporation. On one side it features two happy children and their dog settling into a big comfy chair for the evening, only to turn on the tube and get a Frankenstein fright on the other side! One kid got so scared, he literally disappeared from the mug! Does anyone know anything about The Junior Set? Google wasn't much help...
