The Halloween "jinks" is on me! My incredibly late jump into AEET 2013 Halloween Fest should be relabeled as "perfectionist gone wild." Two posts I've been working on are now on the temporary back-burner because 1.) I'm not happy with my initial scans, and 2.) I'm not happy with my initial photography. You'll just have to wait to see what I'm talking about when I get around to getting these things the way I really want them for eventual posting. In the meantime, here's the Halloween Hijinks page out of a totally fun, and somewhat bonkers Dairy Queen Party Book from 1960. And to further delay Halloween, I'll have the rest of this booklet in my next post!

man this is great! i gotta try that raisin relay race sometime!
but man - you'd better hope no one burns up the ghost invite with your address on it!
This makes me want to see more -- I love these things.
I recently came across a post of "adult" Halloween games and they had a relay race with spoons (held in mouths) and candy corn.
Would still be fun at a little kid - heck ANY - Halloween party!
Is lemon juice flammable?
Sounds cool, KL! The rest of this DQ booklet coming up next!
ANY party being the key for part two-- hope to have the rest of this up tomorrow
i dont think lemon juice is flammable - but paper is!
KARSWELL!! (shaking fist)
Do you prefer Paper Juice with or without pulp?

Yay, excellent Halloween post! I love the illustration for the Ghostly Groans game. There's a witch, a tiger, a skeleton, and some kind of apple bear.
I appreciate the need for perfectionism, too. Currently, I am all relocated in a new house with none of my stuff--no carving knives, no Photoshop, no scanner, not even a camera--save a really crappy one on the missus' iPad. My frustration with this inability to produce anything quality has left a big hole where I typically do a Halloween project, alas.
Always look forward to your annual halloween creations, Mr C!
