Foil is for Fun

Yes, it's unbelievable, but I was actually able to stretch the foil fun into 3 whole posts! We've seen the results of what you can do by wadding up the stuff into interesting shapes and what not, now it's time to learn how you too can actually make some of these aluminum awesomes on a more "professional" level. Follow Conny's expert instructions and you'll be creating Cone People and Popcorn Pets in no time! And hey, don't forget that the holidays are coming, give those restless kiddies something creative to do with their hands and imagination instead of veggin' out on video games! Give 'em as gifts! If none of this interests you, then maybe you'll just enjoy the cute illustrations and design this fun 50's Alcoa Aluminum Foil booklet has to offer. Okay, it's definitely time to wrap this theme up!

The foil necklace would be a neat and different idea since there are quite a few jewelry hobbyists out there (both young and old) who might like to do something different. While some might turn their noses up at the idea of using humble aluminum foil for jewelry, foil would make an interesting medium for the beginner or the novice trying out different designs. A hobbyist could made the prototype out of aluminum foil and make the finished product out of a sheet of sterling silver or 14K gold.
Who knew aluminum foil could be so much fun and lead to so much creativity for such an inexpensive item?

Make your own very complex decoration! 1) unroll foil, 2) crush into shape of favorite complex decoration. 3) Paint!
