Found this very old antique postcard from the turn of the the century, featuring a great "hold to the light" surprise. Yep, winter can be kind of fun when you're making a snowman, but hold this card up to the light and see how much more pleasant good 'ol summer can be when a bevy of bathing beauties suddenly appear! I wonder if a Spring & Fall postcard variation of this exists as well...

Thats a neat trick postcard.
For some reason, the snowman looks like a character from a horror comic, a fearsome Frosty for a winter night's tale of terror. Maybe its the shading of the head that does it, or maybe its my dislike of all things winter that makes me see the snowman as sinister.
A great find, thanks for sharing!
That's super. I don't think I've ever seen a postcard like this before. What does the back look like? Can you actually write a message on it without messing the effect up? It doesn't seem possible.
Yeah, let me be the third vote for how neat that is, and second vote for seeing the back! Never seen anything like this before.
