Funny cowboy art highlights this midcentury Kodak Pony Camera booklet I found the other day, though FYI, I didn't photograph the entire thing, just the pages with the cowboy art. And yes, though his poor horse takes a few for the team on the last couple pages, let's all celebrate anything you want and dig a pony-- and also try to remember that this is "more fun" with your pony-- just like the cover says! I'm fairly certain you'll never convince Mr. Ed of that though!

I have to say it's interesting how they used the yellow. On the last page is that a mask? They carve out some white around the light but it's square, and I just don't get the decision on where to use it with the lady getting on the horse!
Neat art. Whoever did it really knew how to draw animals, a lot of times that's lacking on the more cartoonish art.
B for Kodak brand, I’m guessing. Just like the B he’s branding on the horse, only sideways
Well we all get branded somehow or another. Lord knows how many logos I might as well have had burned into my own butt cheeks. Including Kodak, frankly.
The horse seems to really dig being branded. That troubles me.
"Ohh ohh, Brandy, you're a fine girl, what good horse you would be..."
