Once a Knight...

If you enjoyed the "knights" of our last post, then here ya go with a few more knightly things I spotted recently. First up, a wonderfully illustrated button from the 50's or 60's, that, if I'm reading it correctly, (and if it's implying what I think it's implying) --couldn't be more wrong! And secondly, a gorgeously designed, mid century King Arthur and His Knights themed pinball game, manufactured right here in good 'ol STL MO by Northwestern Products Co. I see many available online, and all are very pricey.

OK the art on the little pinball game is great! There are some slightly amateurish bits but and I suspect there's different pieces pasted together, but the night on the horse has a wonderful sense of movement, and I like the coat of arms.

"Once a Knight is Enough" is right if yours is elaborately themed medieval play -- that takes hours to prepare!

How big is that pinball game? I it meant to be wall-mounted, like a pachinko machine; or propped up on a table? That is seriously beautiful either way.

I don't know anything about pinball, never seen it or played it, but that board is a work of art.

The King Arthur pinball game is 12 x 17", and I agree, the board art is spectacular. I'm not sure what the amateur bits are though?
