Meet the Living Mermaids!

Whoa, I'm finally getting an AEET post going here in 2019, (sorry for the tardiness), and if you've been following THOIA for the last 4 posts HEREHERE, HERE, and HERE, then you're already aware of the Professor Broussard, aka The Werewolf Hunter stories that I've been sharing over thar. But this sexy tail (get it?) from under the sea is just too fun 'n weird to not share, though not nearly as horrific as the THOIA posts have been-- so I'm putting it here for all to sea! *wink! And if you need more info on the Prof, head over to the stories linked above for the de-tails! From the April '45 issue of Rangers Comics #22, and lovely art by the even lovelier Lily Renee, of course!

*NOTE: No fish were fried in the making of this post. Sushi ONLY!

Considering the fact Werewolf Hunter faces vampires, witches/warlocks, werewolves etc. it seems strange that he would be a sceptic when it comes to mermaids.

Catch-penny joint, now there is a term that has fallen by the wayside, not that I ever heard it before, mind you.

I dig the gig poster that makes up the splash panel; but not as much as I love the distant smaller version of that poster at the bottom of page one. I find that kind of detail really clever. I also like these rather Pre-Raphaelite mermaids. So this one was a solid winner for me.

You say there are stinkers too but all of your terrific selections have been such a fascinating change of pace. Speaking of pace. This latest one has that wonderful headlong pacing of all your other "Werewolf Hunter" posts. Thank you Mr. K. you're terrorific!

Yay! Glad to see some of you actually bothered to come over here from THOIA --and even comment too! Thanks!

When that giant hand appeared to grab those people, I thought we were going to be treated to the origin of the Sea-Monkeys! Thanks for another WH story!
