Plug-A-Jug ('69)
What??? You've never played Parker Brother's hillbilly hoe-down hootenanny, Plug-A-Jug??!! That knee slappin', foot stompin', letter pickin', jug pluggin' game, for ages 7 and up? (Rules and gameplay are on the back of the jug), --and don't forget the Mountain Dew! This is a seriously fun little word scramble game with some super cute artwork on the label, ya durn tooting'!

Boy, I'd really like to be fluent in American english and do some cunning word jokes on Plug-a-Jug, Chug-a-Lug, Hillbillie's girls and pet swines!

Was one of my faves as a little kid! In 1970 I loved those guys. I thought they were Bigfoot(s).
I wasn't expecting it to be a speed game. So strange. I'll bet the first thirty minutes of play were a lot of fun. After that, I'll bet almost everybody just used the jug as a bank.
Welp, off to listen to another couple hour's worth of Mungo Jerry.
I think this game was created by a hillbilly that was passed out after drinking a jug of mountain dew.
