Thought you'd seen the last of the vintage xmas cards this year, eh? The truth is I have TONS, but of course I can't show them all, after all, what will I post next year? So here's a quick handful of favorites from my collection: cute kittens, cozy couples, fuzzy reindeer, and just overall grand design in color, typography, textures and illustration. Hope everyone had a great holiday!

FYI: The last two reindeer cards top my list of favorites from my entire collection, because what you can't really see from the scans is the nice layer of neon fuzz overlayed on the deers in both cards, as well as over some of the pine trees and other foliage. I say "neon" because my scanner also didn't pick up the correct color of the flurescent puke green fuzz that it really is. Also, the last card has to be a rarity among xmas cards with it's flat black background that extends not only onto the back of the card but on the INSIDE of the card as well... a very unique design, it knocked my socks off the second I saw it.
These are just great. I find the images here, which do not necessarily rely on the most expected Christmas tropes, to be a lot more imaginative than the Santa and frosty cards you've alrady posted. I like the variety there but I love the creativity here.
Beyond those last two excellent reindeer cards, I'm also really loving the turn-of-the-century Bulgarian couple riding their sleigh through the blood-red snow. But really, these are all wonderful.
You're right...it ain't over. Seeing these reminds me of years past helping Mom pack the Christmas stuff away a week later.
Good stuff!
I love them all but I love the kitten one the best. I have seven cats, all rescued in one fashion or another, either from a feral population or from shelters. I've always been partial to cats.
