Let's Bake (PART TWO)

Here we go with the rest of the amazingly illustrated LET'S BAKE booklet from 1964 (see our previous post HERE for more cuteness and info!) And since these illustrations are so small on the printed page, I scanned everything at 400dpi and edited them together into groups so there wouldn't be so many separate images to click open.

Hope everyone enjoyed these! Lots more tasty fun on the way too!

Oh man these are cute! I love the Date Oatmeal Sandwich Cookies kid who looks like he's carrying a bottle of frankincense or myrrh across the desert. And the kids eating the pie on the cloud are awesome! And the kid pointing at the corn on the blackboard. They're all awesome :)

I think my fave is the kid (in yellow) eating the giant container of cookies all by himself --he's already anticipating the stomach ache too!

That cookie kid was one I noticed, too, but I think I'm leaning toward the pirate. I also like that apple picker on the image with the meringue train. The color work is pretty exceptional on these, considering the size. I'd have never known they were so small with all the color detail.

The spoons are way cuter here in part two.
