Twist Exerciser

Just to clarify, the Twist Exerciser in this picture is that flat thing on the floor under this cute young lady's feet... you don't actually get her, the one that is twist exercising to some Chubby Checker.

"Come on, baby..."

Wasn't that re-branded as a Sit 'N Spin in the seventies? Man, standing on one of those things was like surfing in the house!

They should make these for the shower too

I love how somebody thought to put in the comic "motion lines" so we'd get the idea that she was "twisting." Like anybody was looking past the tank top and pseudo short-shorts.

"Safe for Children" my ass, that thing looks like a death trap. Safe for children if there isn't a heavy wood table with a sharp corner around, and by the age of this catalog, I bet they were everywhere in every house!

We had one of those things, my dad bought it at a garage sale but we never really used it. I tried to use it but the twisting made my sides hurt. I have heard of no pain no gain but that can turn into exercise-hospitalize if you are not careful, especially with that glorified pottery wheel thing.
