Monster Christmas Mash Record (1974)

The 70's was a great decade for monster themed holiday music, and the Monster Christmas Mash record from Peter Pan (1974) is no exception. Fun songs you can hear HERE! --not to mention the incredible cover design by the always amazing George Peed! Let's take a closer look at some of the wild art in detail, shall we? Yep, all of your favorite fiends came out for this excellent xmas shindig, and yeah, I know, xmas is over, but it's never too late to get in one more ghoultide post before the year is out. Also, if you think this cover art is great, wait'll you see what the Peed flip-side looks like! Coming up in our next post HERE!-- s-s-s-stay tombed...

I love the werewolf, and the layout of the house is great, very classic horror layout, but that tower has to be a tight fit (not counting the staircase) to get all those monsters in there!

Santa seems pretty blasé about the whole thing, even though it seems that purple top-hatted vampire really has it out for him!

Man, nothing beats great haunted house art. This thing's a real beaut. Monster Christmas is the best kind of Christmas!

I do think any self-respecting Wolf-Man would be way more interested in the eight tiny caribou pulling that sled than jolly old elf driving it. My two cents.
