Joust Boingler

Once again, working on a larger post, but wanted to share something with you: 35+ years after beating the arcade machine version at Showbiz Pizza Place, I’ve finally received the coveted Joust Boingler Award! Okay, actually this is part of the Midway Gaming Box which also includes a Rampage journal, Defender Teeny Tin, Joust and Gauntlet bumper stickers, Paper Boy sheet magnet, and a Spy Hunter Pin! A very cool gift set for the retro arcade fan like myself!

PLUS! Artwork by Mr. Cavin from quite a few moons ago!

All Hail Karswell, The Joust Champion! All we have to do now is find a comic book artist skilled enough to recreate the historical event in Karswell Comic number 1 (I will have to pass, my artistic talents are meager at best.)

Comic number 2 features Karswell being teleported back to Camelot and defeating the black knight in the ultimate joust challenge.
An idea for Yoe books, maybe?

It looks pretty teeny, I don't know... I actually only have the boingler!

LOL! If that is something anyone would truly want to read I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm guessing the second issue would be more exciting than the first issue though, as issue #1 would just be me standing there about to pee in my pants for 2 hours as I slowly and very painfully beat the machine --with the sounds of the Showbiz Pizza Place Rock-afire Explosion animatronic band blaring in the background :) haha

on ONE QUARTER too!!!

Hey, I did that cartoon already, here. (There's a color version somewhere, but I can't find a link.) So, y'know, whoever does finally draw the sequel has some pretty medium-sized shoes to fill!
