Mercy, Melvin!

A day trip to the state capital with my sister last week proved highly worthy of the 2 hour drive, as we hit a number of antique malls there and all of them seemed to have a great selection of hilariously saucy vintage postcards from the 1940's. These are some of my favorites, the first is a Tichnor Quality Views card, while the rest are all Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. Art Colortones."Yes, there's no better time than winter to post beautiful beach postcards!

The art's unsigned, but I've seen signed cards by this gent and I can tell you his name was Craig Fox. Don't know much about him, though. :(
