Cracker Jack Joke Books (PART ONE)

Don't even think about trick 'r treating this year without a crackin' good joke to lay waste to your neighbor's funny bone while earnin' that sugary sweet proper! And leave it to Cracker Jacks to deliver the goods, (when clearly they're not delivering much else, as it's easily my least favorite snack treat of all time!) BUT!!! I do love those itty bitty prizes, and after digging out a few of the best in vintage 70's tiny Cracker Jacks prize joke books, I thought it time to do you all a Halloween solid, and give ya a few FREE side-splitters that are sure to fill your bag with so much candy, you'll still have a tummy ache by Thanksgiving! So here we go, I have 3 of these lined up this month, each book is one inch high and contains 8 jokes in all, and you know that the teeny size required me to scan them in at 600 dpi so you can get a really nice look at that fun artwork!

I'll be sharing these with you all throughout the month o'October-- so keep checking back!

Cute jokes even if they do induce a groan from their corny punchline, but that is to be expected from a snack featuring popcorn.

At the mall I saw a T shirt that would make a great gift for THOIA followers, it read "October 31 is for tourists I live it all year!"

I wouldn't mind celebrating all hallows every 30th or 31st of every month, or even St Patrick's day every 15th of the month (the breweries would love that too.)

Here's to a happy, scary, candy filled Halloween this and every year!

Awww this is so cute! I would have geeked out so hard if I'd gotten one of these when I was a kid. I was super into those lame Big Books of Jokes. I cringe when I think about walking around the house with it and reading the jokes to my family right out of it

Aww yeah. I strongly suspect that baseball spider will pop-up as somebody's new profile picture someday soon. And now that I've got a copy of your fingerprints I'm off to trick-or-treat at the bank vault.

Happy Halloween!

They should've made a cereal based on you called Crafty Carol's Corn Cringers

>I strongly suspect that baseball spider will pop-up as somebody's new profile picture someday

I keep going back to the horsefly and thinking mmmmaybe...

Thanks for the comments! As mentioned in the intro, I'll have more of these tiny Cracker Jack joke books for you all later on this month as we creep closer to Halloween :)

Some of those look very Wally Wood-ish.

Agreed... I was even thinking that horse fly looked a bit Jack Davis inspired

I was thinking that they looked a lot like Jack Rickard, another MAD artist from the 60's and 70's.
