What's Cooking?

Got a few more fun ads today (from the same 1950's "What's Cooking?" recipe booklet as the Eaton ad in our last post.) I'm currently working on a bigger post that I hope to have ready over the weekend. Stay warm, friends-- it's miserably frigid in STL this week!

Survival in modern society: it's not a matter of "riding the Tiger", unfortunately you just have to ride the Pig.

Kid riding the pig is probably my favorite today, but the Clover Leaf canned salmon art is the one I most want to colorize.

Love the thought of Clover Leaf Canned Salmon. "hey billy what did you get in your lunch today?". "I got Salmon Sally want to trade??"

I don't even remember canned salmon when I was a kid, just tuna
