Here it is, the cleverly cruel climax to the first part of "Grave of Greed", from the August 1952 issue of Harvey Comics Hits #59, aka "Tales of the Invisible" --and now with more invisibility and Scarlet O'Neil too! I hope everyone enjoyed this story as much as the scary one I posted over at THOIA.

I enjoyed reading this story. Thanks for posting it. I just recently discovered your blogs and I feel like I'm in comic book heaven. These are comics I would not have been able to read, if not for your efforts.
Excellent. The ending seemed a little rote--I guess the absolute most cliché thing would have been if they'd each accidentally killed themselves instead of each other--but it feels like Stamm understood that himself owing to the way he drew the ending out and buried the climax under that long conclusion. This method works really well and so the story doesn't feel very predictable to me at all, even if it did have one of the two most likely conclusions.
This was very satisfying. Do you have any more?

I'm looking into it, and I've already inquired with a few of my other THOIA contributors to see what they have... this could turn out to be the Summer of Scarlet!
