Happy holiday everyone, and welcome to another installlment of Karswell's Card Collection! Of all the greeting cards I collect, Easter seems to be the one holiday that I have the least amount of good examples to showcase from, that is, when it comes to the interesting art styles of the 1940's through the 70's, I mean. But below are a few from my collection. Fyi: for an incredibly HUGE greeting card showcase you'll have to come back in May, when I break out the birthday selections (there will be lots more rabbits then too!)

it wasn't Santa Claus, it was the Martians!...
Great article and a walk down memory lane with the cards. You can actually create any design you like, even recreating vintage looking cards, all online. Email me if you would like to find out how - cardgrowth@gmail.com
I always love these no matter the holiday.
"Mister" doesn't rhyme with "Easter," sheesh. But that's my favorite card anyway. I love the superflat way the illustrator got into those textile details--those boots are a fetish.
These are great as usual, Karswell. I always loved Halloween cards, but it cost a small fortune just to buy enough to give away--let alone doubles for collecting. So all I ever did was dream about having a library of the kickass stuff I remember from my first decade. I never anticipated how much I'd dig all these other holidays, though. Heck, now you have me looking forward to your birthday for crying out loud.
Happy Easter.

Yes, you guys are gonna LOVE May 1st! We've got a few more posts before then though, thanks for the comments!
The last one's apparently a P.Coker Hallmark card.
Great picks. I love when cards aren't the normal kitsch holiday images! Not the right time period for yours, but I like this one that I got this year... looks formal, but kinda "off" at the same time. http://fineartamerica.com/products/easter-bunny-jennifer-harper-greeting-card.html
