Well, we're still not finished with the 'ol vintage novelty gag gift boxes, but I do hope everyone out there is still having fun and not getting bored. I mean, as long as you have your health 'n wealth, what more could you ask for? Oh wait, happiness... hopefully you're still gettin' some of THAT as well too! *wink! So, is there another box coming up in our next post, you ponder? Howz'about two!!

I can only speak for myself, but these novelty gag gifts from decades ago are a real treat.
That health part- that pill doesn't look too healthy to me. I guess after so many decades its health benefits deteriorated over time.
The wealth part- depending on rarity, a cent can bring a pretty penny, though this one dated 1953 (?) is worth 10¢ minimum.
The happiness part- no comment. I will let another commenter comment on that one.
All of these gag gifts/novelty gifts leave me with one question, how did they mange to survive in such good shape after all this time? Where they put away in an attic, cellar, basement or back closet and forgotten? The original owners oversite is our enjoyment today, so there is something positive to be said about benign neglect.
Damn, that is a big penny.
