Art Deco Doorstop, or Bookend?

Does anyone know anything about metal, art deco doorstops, or bookends? I found this Vampira-esque beauty recently and was interested in knowing who made it, what year, etc. For its size, it's quite heavy, solid (though flat on the backside), and seems to be cast with a bit more detail than some of the other doorstop types I've seen online while researching it. Any help would be great-- thank you!

I searched online but had no luck finding one like it, I did find this neat art deco piece that would fit in nicely in THOIA-

With so many art deco items made by famous makers, somewhat famous makers and Johnny-come-lately-copycat cash in on the craze makers back then, finding any information is tough.

All in all a great conversation piece, great find Karswell.

Welp, I didn't have any better luck than you people--and I didn't really expect to. Mostly, I just tossed some keywords into a Google image search to get a cursory sense of the varied and interesting world of cast metal door stops, something I'd barely considered before today. And holy cow, there are a lot of pretty interesting things to discover. You could fill a haunted house with all the great black cats out there (almost as if cats sitting immobilized in one's doorway was some kind of universal thing). I'm going to keep my eyes open for a few of them for the houses I myself haunt.

Also gonna keep my eyes peeled for one of these. Wow.

Your new *cast *metal *deco *nude *girl *figure *door stop is really cool, by the way. And, apparently, unique in all the world! Congrats on an excellent find!

Holy ghosts! Yes, that’s incredible too!

If it's flat on the back, perhaps broaden your search to consider bookends as well as door stops. Regardless of what she is, she's a lovely specimen!

Good thinking, Wendy, —but if it’s a bookend I guess now I have to find the other one!!!

Have you done an image search in google? You can just click and drag your image into google’s search bar (after selecting the image search option) and it should return results on anything that looks similar.

Yep... this thing is now the most exhaustively googled item in my collection. Seemed like I was getting warmer searching “bookend” but then the trail went cold again. I appreciate all the suggestions, hopefully we’ll get her figured out! Thanks again, everyone!

Wow. I had no idea how many cool old doorstops there were either. The vampire lady is a fabulous find!

One last suggestion - do you think it might be a movie prop from the era?

That would certainly be amazing if so! I may contact the antique mall and see if they can put me in touch with the booth vendor for info. I will definitely post what I discover, if anything. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions, everyone!
