Dips, Dunks, and Party Spreads

I have a handful of these great little 1960's booklets from Osterizer, and I'll be sharing them with you all throughout the entire month of March, --mixed in of course with the usual bits of everything else too! Full of tasty recipes and incredible artwork, let's kick it all off with my favorite thing to do-- dippin', dunkin', and spreadin' it!

I really like the cover girl. She looks like one of those papier-mâché heads we used to make using light bulbs back in school. I guess with a bustle like that she's got a light bulb at both ends.

oh man! i could look at cartoon hands dipping and dunking all day!

it seems like these recipes were sponsored by the cottage cheese association of america. i'll have to try some of them!
