Death in the Afternoon

A picture post card booklet (from the 50's?) found in an antique mall and containing black and white photos taken from every step of an actual bullfight-- from the opening parade, to the final agonizing slaughter of the poor bull by the matador (I've included just 2 of the 18 images as examples from within, including the very last image of some dude eating a BBQ bull sandwich :P ) Needless to say, I am NOT a fan of bullfighting, and the colorful, cartoony art depicted on the cover wrap seems to perfectly define how silly everything about this "sport" is to me. RIP Bulls

damn! i cant believe they called this postcard memento thing Death in the Afternoon! i guess that's about all it is though. funny how they make it so cute and cartoony on the outside. with the bull actually looking like he's smiling in one frame.

All the bull heard was "BBQ sandwich", not realizing he was the one on the menu :(
