A Horrible Halloween Tale
A wonderfully silly, pun-filled holiday card (date unknown) from Karswell's Kard Kollection, courtesy of American Greetings' 'Funny HiBrow Cards' line. I thought editing the panels into this bloggy format would make it easier to read, as the art seems almost unbearably cramped the way it is on the fold-out card pages, plus it had a bunch of writing all over it that I had to orange-out. We'll have more vintage greeting card art closer to Halloween too!

Ha! Nice pun at the end. I recognise the art style from Mad - Duck Ewing perhaps?
I laughed a lot more and a lot louder than I expected to.
Wait a sec, did I just hear a groan from Count Skully, The King of the Groaner!?! Haha

They did have very funny cards in the 1960s-1970s
