How to Have Fun on Roller Skates

Collecting old booklets from the 1950's seriously doesn't get much better than this one, especially if you're a fan of great illustration and design as much as roller skating! Adjusting, steering, safety and care, stunts, games-- it's all here, so strap on your wheels and get rollin'! Just stay out of the street, fool!!

PLUS! A gorgeous skate rink / panty shot sticker that I saw on ebay!

Say, that bonus is my favorite thing I've seen today--excellent upskirt rollergirl telling me she loves me in hand signs. Make a good coaster.

Love the "How-To" page for skating. All the pictures look the same to me for the different steps! Nontheless, fantastic 50s graphic design.

Love the new Avatar!

Great, glad I spent all that time scanning the booklet then, haha

Just like doing the Hokey Pokey, Mykal-- that's what it's all about!

Got a quickie post coming up as I prepare a much larger, much spookier post for the weekend. Thanks for the comments!

Gorgeous!

I remember seeing at a Garage Sale (and I'm still kicking myself for not buying it) a really nifty little pamphlet like this about Flying a Kite. I think it was produced by P. G. & E. and starred Reddy Kilowatt.

I also saw some other neato ones starring Rock and Bullwinkle too. Ever seen 'em?

They remind me of those amazing educational Science Films that Bell Labs financed and were Produced by Frank Capra. Hemo the Magnificent and Meteora: The Unchained Goddess were my faves.

Not familiar with the kite flying brochure, Leesa-- but if it's like this one I'll definitely be on the look out for it!
