Another Swell Idea-- of Corset!

In our previous post (HERE) we found a rather uniquely groovy way to keep our go-go boots from getting warped 'n wrinkled. Now today, we're gonna go back a few more decades to discover an equally clever doo-dad for to store our delicate lady dainties within. It's a pink, corset shaped hanging hosiery hamper, complete with black lace covering, and cute, dangly garter belt accessory details (which honestly really help sell the overall concept.) And oh my, just think of all the wonderful things that you can conveniently store inside, though of course you could always just use it as a laundry basket for your dirtiest of dainties as well. Made by Loren Company, (1940's Fullerton CA), --and when brand new it originally sold for a whole whoppin' two dollars!

That's super cute and I love the fabric! The whole thing has a real sleek look and the flower button and that massive hook just sell the whole thing.

And, in a pinch, it's a halloween costume for your cat!

It’s a bit large for a typical house cat. Now a cougar…

I came for the hosiery hamper and stayed for the wordplay. “The dirtiest of dainties” absolutely sent me 😂 What a treasure to behold!

This item needs a comeback. I could envision a modern day version of this created for fans of fetish outfits (made out of latex, pvc, leather, lace on cloth, etc.)

Craftypants Carol, if you have a sewing machine and the patience to create an item like this, you will have the side gig of the decade.

This was a neat find Karswell, I never would have imagined they made or sold risqué items like this before the sixties. thanks for posting this unique item.

This is so adorable! But I really wish the stocking suspender things had a function. Like hanging a pair of panties to dry!

And JMR777 I appreciate your beleif in my abilities! Unfortunately my get up and go has got up and went when it comes to making things to sell. I had an Etsy store years ago where I sold crafty items I made and all that really happened out of all that was I started despising having to make the stuff - which is the last thing I want!

I might make one of these for myself though. And maybe even hang my very own dainties to dry!
