Axe Weilding Ghost

It's the last day of September, and this is your friendly reminder that October is up next, and it's gonna be a full-on month of Halloween horrors the likes of which you'll not find anywhere else on the www! I have a lot of comic book scans ready to go, plus the usual, and unusual, assortment of everything else too! Why, here comes an axe wielding ghost right now to welcome you inside this haunted little castle of ours, and to get this p-p-p-party really s-s-s-started already! Let's do this!

That's a nice decoration! I'm not sure if that's a ghost or a monster with a sexy sheer lingerie on .... but that kind of stuff is usually reserved for your other blog!

I love the rubbery 3D-ish castle, that's always a cool bit of cartooning.

A ghostly executioner after one more victim, a ghostly guardian of the royal treasure or a nobleman's specter determined to guard his castle to the end, and beyond. Whoever he is, he adds to the spookiness of this Halloween decoration.

I miss taping up old cardboard decorations on Halloween. My faves were always the articulated skeletons, but I have lots of faves: Puffy vapor ghosts and haunted castles are right there at the top. I love this particular vintage orange and teal color scheme--especially where they are part of the castle accents.

October's gonna be great!

Aside from the rough edges and tape, yours looks pretty good, and maintained it's original color... mine's all faded :(

That axe ghost looks *very* much like the demon Squatterbloat from the Sandman comics. Gatekeeper, axe hand, everything.
