Heads I Win, Tails I Also Win

Two sides to a coin, and when flipping it competitively, you're always gonna come up aces with this one! A funny old novelty coin that evens out the playing field-- even the loser can walk away happy!

Looks like that coin has been used more than a few times, I can only wonder if it led to stock predictions (will the market Bottom out?) horse race betting (the winner by a- nose) or business planning (will the business go tits up?)

Too bad Two Face from Batman didn't use a coin like that.

I like the art on this, it's weirdly competent but also strangely amateurish; as if the art was really good but not good at creating the mold or working at that size.

I like the face it also has this uncanny valley come-hither look and a very 80s Farrah Fawcett hair style. Neat!

Definitely feels like more love and attention was lavished on carving the heads side of the coin. All that anatomical detail in her throat and shoulders is complicated (maybe too much so for such a limited medium, I had to take a long second look before I was able to parse it all right). Her arms on the tails side look like an afterthought. Or perhaps the arms themselves have rubbed away and left only the shading behind.

Aside from all that, it's neat. I like fake money. I like to contemplate the real monetary value of pretend currency. Like, I assume that's a coin that's worth about five bucks? That's pretty good appreciation over the years, beating out a lot of official tender, even many collectible coins and some hand carved hobo nickels.
